Health Insurance is a factor of having financial freedoms and something you cannot live without. Within the United States forty-five million Americans are uninsured and given there low incomes and unfortunate situations are not eligible to receive and afford health insurance or are not offered. Nothing comes free in life there is always expenses that have to be paid. Therefore, making health insurance affordable to low and middle income Americans there will be fair treatment in hospitals, clinics and society. I am going to approach this problem that we have in the United States by building my own clinic. By doing this I am giving Americans a place that is affordable to all people whether they have low, middle or no income, everyone gets treated the same and it is going to be located in a community that has a nice environment and easily to transport to and from.

  1. Not sure what the first sentence means.Omit "is a factor"...just say what it is...it's something everyone needs...and it shouldn't soley be for the rich. Omit "within the US" and just state 45 mil Americans are uninsured (period) it's stronger. They are financially unable to afford health insurace because they are unemployed, working but not offered affordable health insurance or denied for a pre existing condition. It's reasonable for everyone that pays for health insurance to expect equitable treatment in clinics and hospitals. My solution is to build clinics that are accessible and affordable to all type of people. Close to transportation, safe and affordable to all people whether they have low, middle or are unemployed, these clinics will bring healthcare to the uninsured.

Cherelle, I know of a woman's clinic that is very like this...cash only for low income- uninsured. It really helped me when I was out of money a few years back. It's the Tennison's Women's clinic in Garland on Broadway. I can give you their phone number if you'd like to interview the doctor/nurse practitioner and get a feel for what running a clinic is like. Interested?
